The Junior Underwriting Associate is a vital member of our underwriting team, contributing significantly to our operational success.

This role involves close collaboration with senior underwriters to facilitate informed decision-making and enhance strategic operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing and participating in client meetings
  • Support risk assessment and collaborate with actuaries on pricing models
  • Maintain awareness of claims developments and coordinate with the claims department
  • Ensure precise scanning and indexing of risk documentation into the underwriting workflow system
  • Accurately input risk information into the underwriting database
  • Effectively build and nurture relationships with clients and brokers
  • Handle inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Represent the company at corporate and networking events
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and report on pertinent issues
  • Engage in monitoring premium payments and liaising with brokers
  • Assist in exposure management and aggregate data collection
  • Comply with the Company's Business Ethics policy and all regulatory standards
