Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the coordination of various multi-disciplinary meetings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of discussions.
  • Updating and maintaining patient information systems during meetings, requiring real-time typing skills to capture essential details.
  • Managing administrative tasks post-meeting, including scheduling follow-up appointments and coordinating related activities within tight deadlines.
  • Performing general office duties such as managing supplies, handling petty cash, and maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Engaging confidently with clients and stakeholders, both in person and via telephone, to provide information and support.
  • Collaborating with the administration team to ensure continuity of service during periods of absence.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should possess the following:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic record management systems.
  • Experience in complex calendar management and advanced typing capabilities.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with a solid understanding of office protocols.
  • A relevant qualification in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures, particularly within the NHS framework.
