Role Overview

The operations team is pivotal in enhancing our customers' experience by ensuring we maintain optimal stock levels. To support our commitment to never being out of stock, we are seeking a dedicated Materials Planning Executive. Here’s what your daily responsibilities will entail:

  • Collaborate with various departments to assess the quantity of raw materials required for product creation, ensuring a consistent supply.
  • Develop precise planning strategies and maintain stock levels within designated targets to facilitate the production of our offerings.
  • Coordinate and assist in the procurement of diverse products across all ranges, managing orders for stock replenishments aligned with the production schedule.
  • Organize scheduled transportation and ensure the timely execution of shipments.
  • Foster strong supplier relationships alongside the Procurement team to guarantee timely deliveries and provide regular updates on forecasts.
  • Given the nature of our products, monitoring the shelf life of materials is crucial. You will ensure that stock is suitable for use and accurately recorded in our systems.
  • Maintain precise and timely reports on wastage, collaborating with the Material Planning Team to predict any stock loss, with a strong focus on minimizing waste.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for individuals with a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or those with approximately 1-2 years of experience in Production or Materials Planning. Strong communication skills are essential, as building effective relationships with suppliers is a key aspect of this role. We seek someone who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and feels confident in negotiation.

Proficiency in either Excel or Google Sheets is critical, as tracking raw material stock levels and their application in production is fundamental to our supply chain efficiency.
