About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning Specialist to join our operations team at Huel. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers' experience by delivering on our promise of never being out of stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand raw material requirements, ensuring timely and accurate supply.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and meet production targets.
  • Manage the purchasing process for all product ranges, including trials, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries from suppliers.
  • Coordinate scheduled transport and ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, working closely with our Procurement team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that materials are fit for purpose and accurately reflected in our system.
  • Identify and mitigate stock loss, working closely with the Material Planning Team to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience in Production Planning or Materials Planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform inventory management decisions.
