Role Overview

Our operations team is vital in ensuring that we consistently meet our commitment to our customers by maintaining optimal stock levels. We are seeking a Materials Planning Executive to enhance our operations team. Here’s what your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with various departments to assess the required quantities of raw materials needed for product creation, ensuring a continuous supply.
  • Developing precise plans to maintain stock levels within designated targets, enabling us to produce the necessary quantities of our offerings.
  • Coordinating and supporting the procurement of all product types across our ranges, including trial products, and managing orders for stock replenishments to align with production schedules.
  • Assisting in the organization of scheduled shipments and ensuring their timely execution.
  • Fostering strong supplier relationships in collaboration with the Procurement team to guarantee timely deliveries and providing regular updates on forecasts.
  • Given the nature of our products, managing the shelf life of materials is critical. You will ensure that the materials are suitable for use and accurately reflected in our systems.
  • Maintaining precise and timely reports on wastage, working closely with the Material Planning Team to predict any stock losses, as we strive to minimize waste.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals with a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or those with approximately 1-2 years of experience in Production or Materials Planning. Excellent communication skills are essential, as building strong relationships with suppliers is a key aspect of this role. Candidates should possess strong negotiation abilities.

Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is critical, as tracking raw material stock levels and their application in production is a fundamental part of this position.
