About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning Specialist to join our operations team at Huel. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers' experience by delivering on our promise of never being out of stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand raw material requirements and ensure optimal stock levels within targets.
  • Create accurate plans and forecasts to ensure timely and accurate deliveries from suppliers.
  • Organize and assist with the purchasing of all types of products, including trials and product range replenishments.
  • Coordinate scheduled transport and ensure shipments are executed efficiently.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and provide regular forecast updates.
  • Maintain accurate and timely wastage reports, working with the Material Planning Team to forecast any stock loss.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Supply Chain or related field, or 1-2 years of experience in Production Planning or Materials Planning.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to inform planning decisions.
