Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Trading Specialist to join our team. As a Digital Trading Specialist, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day trading of our e-commerce websites, managing reporting of daily/weekly/monthly/annual trade, and providing detailed analysis of key business drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day trading of e-commerce websites, under the guidance of a Trading Manager
  • Manage reporting of daily/weekly/monthly/annual trade, providing detailed analysis of key business drivers and feeding into action plans to ensure sales and contribution targets are met
  • Utilize available resources to analyze seasonal sales patterns, maintain commercial awareness, and report on key competitors and customer behavior
  • Oversee and report on the weekly content for site changes, campaigns, promotions, and brand partner updates
  • End-to-end management of all critical paths for campaign and promotional activity, including awareness of upcoming activities
  • Ensure communication of product and trading strategies to all digital marketing and optimization teams
  • Assist with coordinating evergreen and seasonal content requirements to drive SEO, customer engagement, and conversion
  • Manage process of improving product content, supporting teams to resolve any issues as quickly as possible to optimize sales

People Management

  • Set clear objectives, goals, and development plans for Trading Assistants as relevant
  • Collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, utilizing appropriate communication and people management methods
  • Be an active and positive contributor to the team, contributing to the overall e-commerce strategy
  • Represent the Digital Trading Team across the wider business, ensuring e-commerce KPIs are understood and achievable for all

Requirements

  • Valid working rights for the UK countries
  • Analytical with strong reporting skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel user
  • Experience working within e-commerce platforms
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar digital role in a retail or consumer brand
