Position: Associate Examinations Invigilator

Location: Bedfordshire Campuses

Compensation: £13.20 per hour

Working Hours: Up to 30 hours per week

Role Overview:

The Bedford College Group is currently in search of an Examinations Invigilator to oversee examinations in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Awarding Body, covering our campuses in Bedfordshire.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidates will possess:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent, or a commitment to achieve Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent
  • Proven experience working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Familiarity with adhering to established procedures and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Teams
  • A consistent ability to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for students and/or clients
  • A commitment to ensuring a high-quality experience for all students
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face interactions
  • Experience in an educational setting
  • Understanding of the responsibilities and requirements of an invigilator
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed
