Assessment Invigilator

Position: Examinations Supervisor – Northamptonshire Campuses

Location: Northamptonshire

Compensation/Benefits: Rate £13.20 per hour

Working Hours: Up to 30 hours per week – contract duration until December 2024

Role Overview:

The Bedford College Group is actively looking for an Examinations Supervisor to oversee assessment sessions in compliance with regulatory standards across various campuses in Northamptonshire.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal applicants will possess:

• GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications, or a commitment to attain Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent
• Proven experience in engaging effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with adhering to established procedures and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Teams
• A consistent ability to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for students and/or clients
• A commitment to ensuring a high-quality experience for all students
• Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face interactions
• Background in an educational setting
• Understanding of the responsibilities and requirements of an invigilator
• Willingness to travel to various locations

Understanding the Associate Role:
Associates are engaged on a temporary basis to provide instructional or support services, collaborating with core staff. As an Associate, you will receive an agreement outlining your eligibility for assignments.
