About the role:

We are currently in search of a Senior Examinations and Achievement Administrator to join The Bedford College Group, serving various locations in the Bedford area.

As a Senior Examinations and Achievement Administrator, you will play a vital role in enhancing our students' success through:

  • Maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
  • Providing and coordinating a comprehensive exams administration service for both students and staff.
  • Collaborating with the Exams Manager and Exams Administrators to facilitate all examinations across multiple regional sites.
  • Organizing the creation of a detailed examination timetable, including the reservation of rooms and invigilators across all locations.
  • Dispatching results and certificates while accurately recording achievements in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing and updating examination processes and procedures as necessary.
  • Verifying and authorizing invoices within budgetary limits.

About you:

  • The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent.
  • A Level 3 qualification or higher.
  • Experience handling confidential documentation and information.
  • Significant administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Proficient IT skills, including the ability to manipulate data using Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • A strong understanding of and ability to operate within established regulations.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills to manage your own workload effectively.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional evenings.
  • Access to personal transport is essential for transporting examination materials to various sites as needed.
