Role Overview:

We are in search of a Senior Examinations and Achievement Administrator to become a part of The Bedford College Group, supporting various locations within the Bedford area.

As a Senior Examinations and Achievement Administrator, you will be instrumental in fostering student success through:

  • Upholding the integrity of the examination process.
  • Delivering and coordinating comprehensive exams administration services for both students and staff.
  • Collaborating with the Exams Manager and Exams Administrators to facilitate all examinations across regional sites.
  • Organizing the creation of a detailed examination timetable, including the reservation of rooms and invigilators across all locations.
  • Timely dispatch of results and certificates while accurately recording achievements.
  • Reviewing and updating examination processes and procedures as necessary.
  • Authorizing invoices within budgetary limits.

Candidate Profile:

  • Ideal candidates will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent.
  • A Level 3 qualification or higher.
  • Experience handling confidential documentation and information.
  • Significant administrative experience in an office environment.
  • Proficient IT skills, including data manipulation using Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to comprehend and operate within established regulations.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills to manage personal workload effectively.
  • Flexibility to work occasional early mornings and evenings as required.
  • Access to personal transportation is essential for transporting examination materials to various sites when necessary.
