Position Overview - Director of Financial Planning and Analysis:

Trinity House Group is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This position is pivotal within our global organization, where you will collaborate with a high-performing team and engage closely with senior management.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, having transitioned from practice to industry, and thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment. Your ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights will be crucial for influencing business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the 'below the line' Profit and Loss statement and Cashflow management. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accuracy in Actuals, quarterly Forecasts, annual Budgets, and the 5-year Strategic Plan.
  • Analyze the implications of financial transactions on the corporate P&L, Cashflows, and Net Debt, including M&A activities, dividends, and share buybacks. Model various scenarios and their effects on key financial metrics.
  • Actively participate in monthly Cash Calls with the CFO, presenting corporate financial elements in a clear and concise manner.
  • Serve as the process owner for the comprehensive Forecast, Budget, and Strategic Plans. Assist in establishing corporate timelines and assumptions while ensuring effective communication with FP&A teams across business units.
  • Support the broader FP&A team in providing analytical insights into Business Unit financials for quarterly Forecasts, Budgets, and Strategic Plans. Challenge and validate forecasts and budgets, offering insights to senior management.
  • Provide financial support for various ad hoc projects as needed.
