About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Technology Risk Management Vice President to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our Internal Audit and Control function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our firm's controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of technology risk management projects, including the assessment of system architecture, operating systems, and database security.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate technology-related risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with technology management to identify and prioritize risk management initiatives and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide assurance on the effectiveness of our firm's internal control structure and support the Audit Committee, the Board of Directors, and Risk Committee in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including technology management, risk management, and audit committees.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technology risk management, with a focus on financial services.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, operating systems, and database security.
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements, such as SOX and PCI-DSS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technology management, risk management, and audit committees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize risk management initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certification or industry accreditation, such as CISA or CISSP.
  • Experience with cloud computing, Linux and Windows operating systems, and database design and administration.
  • Strong understanding of business continuity planning and disaster recovery design and implementation.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
