The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team as the Area Sales Manager for Gas Turbines within Sulzer Gas Turbines EMEA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for setting sales objectives, driving business growth, and developing strategic sales plans to achieve order intake, gross margin, and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Engage with customers directly and manage sales channels through agents and within Sulzer.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Draft and negotiate profitable contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
  • Plan and execute business development activities, including customer training, fairs, and conferences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales within the gas turbine industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, agents, and internal teams.
  • Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingsness to travel as required within the EMEA region.
