Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Seaham Hall. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the reservations team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest arrivals and departures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service, hospitality, and technology.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a reception or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft systems and ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
