OVERVIEW

We are pleased to present an opportunity for a skilled Team Leader to become part of our Conference and Events division at The Celtic Collection.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

The position demands a keen attention to detail to guarantee that the utmost standards of service are maintained throughout the guests' experience at the Resort.

You should be an outstanding team player, a source of motivation, possess excellent communication abilities, and have a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service. A professional demeanor and high standards of presentation are essential.

With a background in leading teams within the hospitality sector, you should have a passion for the industry and a commitment to providing our guests with unforgettable experiences.

Experience in a four or five-star hotel or in environments catering to large-scale banqueting is preferred.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

As one of several Team Leaders reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee small teams to facilitate the execution of daily events.

Your responsibilities may include managing a small event, coordinating a series of meetings, or supervising a busy lunch service.

During dinner service, you will lead a team of up to 12 staff members to deliver plated meals to designated tables, ensuring that every guest receives their chosen meal, including managing special dietary requests.

Prior to service, you will conduct a briefing with your team to clarify duties and inspect your area.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and adaptability to sudden changes are crucial.

Depending on your skills and career aspirations, you may have opportunities to engage with clients and gain experience to confidently manage events for up to 150 attendees, with support available for progression to Supervisor, Floor Manager, and beyond.

In 2019, The Celtic Collection partnered with the Welsh Government to launch the International Convention Centre Wales at Celtic Manor, featuring a 4,000 sq m pillar-free main hall, a 1,500-seat auditorium, versatile meeting rooms, and ample breakout and networking spaces.
