The Role: Deputy Care Home Manager

As Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of this residential service. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, taking on key responsibilities for service provision and providing direct support to residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager by overseeing key areas of service delivery and assuming overall responsibility in their absence.
  • Manage budgets effectively, coordinate staff rotas, and lead a dedicated team of care professionals.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Essential Requirements:
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care, or an equivalent qualification.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • A strong understanding of person-centered care principles and outcome-based service delivery.
  • Proven experience in managing and supervising a team within a similar care setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
