Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at a residential service in the West Midlands area. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the service, supporting the Registered Manager, and providing leadership to a team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents, in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the Registered Manager in the management of the service, including budgeting, rotas, and staff supervision.
  • Lead a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Have a good understanding of budgets, rotas, and staff management.
  • Be able to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
  • Have demonstrable and proven managerial experience within a similar role.
  • Be committed to quality care and service provision.
