Job Title: Telephone Business Development Manager

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Watford as a Telephone Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and developing relationships with intermediaries within your allocated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with introducers to achieve new business targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop expert knowledge of our BTL and Bridging products, criteria, process, and USPs to effectively assess enquiries and progress them into applications within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the regional field BDM to manage intermediaries within the region, maximizing sales opportunities and driving business growth.
  • Enquiry Handling: Respond to new business enquiries from introducers, ensuring our products are front-of-mind and that all intermediaries are updated about new products and features.
Key Skills:
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent call handling, listening, and influencing skills, with a good telephone manner and ability to articulate yourself well.
  • Relationship Building: Able to successfully build relationships with introducers and overcome objections to achieve sales targets.
  • Confidence: Demonstrate confidence in pursuing leads and overcoming objections to drive business growth.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience within a sales role would be highly desirable, but not essential.
