DWP is looking to fill one role in Strategic Finance directorate

FInance³ is a collaboration between the 3 Finance Directors (Strategic Finance - Alex Skinner, Payments, Systems and Financial Control - Sean Pearce and Financial Management and Partnering - Sophie Ingram and Louise Skelton) within DWP Finance Group to build a best-in-class Finance Function.

Finance³ are focussed on 3 strategic priorities in this financial year. One of these priorities is to create a flexible workforce. The team will lead on making this a reality, bringing together workforce planning and recruitment activity from across the directorates to streamline and improve the process.

**Hybrid Working**

This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home.

This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangements and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business need but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account.

If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas

**Job description**:
Our Recruitment Adviser will be responsible for leading an effective and efficient process to recruit people into Finance³, following relevant approvals and procedures.

The team brings together the recruitment activity from the 3 finance directorates. The team’s role is to refine and improve processes to deliver a streamlined and efficient service.

This is a great opportunity to help to shape and influence recruitment in Finance³. Work will be varied, fast paced and evolving. You could be leading on filling a single vacancy or a brigaded campaign for several roles.

As the key point of contact you will be engaging with a range of stakeholders, such as vacancy holders, HR Business partners and Workforce Planning contacts.

You will be key to supporting the development of a knowledge base of good practice, and a library of supporting products.

Typical duties may include:

- Provision of expert guidance to vacancy holder
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Communicating standards and ensuring panel members understand and adopt them
- Standard setting and quality assurance of sift panel and interview results
- Support onboarding
- Supporting start up meeting to agree key criteria and selection approach
- Support campaign sponsors in development of advertisement and job description template
- Communicating standards and ensuring sift panel members understand and adopt them
- Initial moderation of sift results - escalating inconsistencies
- Communicating interview standards
- Cover and support for colleagues in the wider workforce planning and recruitment team
