Family Group Conference Coordinator

Daybreak, a registered charity, is welcoming new Independent Coordinators to join our team.
We work with a team of self-employed Coordinators across the South of England and are actively looking for trained and experienced Coordinators to help us deliver our objective of increasing the use of Family Group Conferences (FGCs) and empowering more families to tackle the challenges facing them.
We are welcoming compassionate and committed Coordinators to put their skills to use in enabling families to demonstrate how they can keep each other safe. We want to expand the use of Family Group Conferences to a wide range of environments and referral agents, beyond the primary focus of children’s social services - so now is a great time to add your skills and experience to our growing team.
Our Coordinators are experienced in working alongside families facing a diverse range of challenges, including mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence. This means that, no matter what your background, we are sure we can find a way for you to use your skills and training to empower families to find a way forward.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Full Family Group Conference Coordinator Training
- Experience working in or around social care, or a role that involves problem-solving in sensitive situations
- Commitment to delivering quality work for families and helping them to move forward
- Facilitative skills, adept in bringing people together and ensuring everyone is listened to
- Openness and honesty
- Creative and compassionate approach to work

**DETAILS**
- **Fee**: £545 fee per completed FGC, plus expenses (£566 for those with full Level 3 Accreditation)
- **Working pattern**: Flexible to suit you and the needs of each case, with a combination of working from home and traveling to see families. We are looking for people who can offer a range of time commitment from full-time to those who can single case hold.
- **Contract**: Independent, Self-employed
- **Training**: As a freelance role, we would expect Coordinators to keep up to date with and self-fund expected training, including Safeguarding and Data Protection. We have limited but discounted spaces in our training events and workshops for Coordinators working with us.
- Enhanced DBS is essential
