Our admin and clerical teams are a crucial component in the success of this Trust-wide service. As part of this invaluable Team, you will have a direct and positive impact on how we care for our patients within the hospital ensuring our Trust values of Kind Connected and Bold are carried out.

To support the department, there is an opportunity for an experienced administrator to work alongside our Microbiology colleagues. The role will be based in the Microbiology department and will be split between both clinical and laboratory admin duties.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work to strict deadlines with good communication and organisation skills. Previous administration/office experience would be advantageous.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Duties will include.
- Supporting our Medical and Laboratory team
- Managing Microbiology consultant's rotas and their diaries
- Taking Meetings minutes
- Working with external laboratories and chasing laboratory reports
- General office duties

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be confident to make judgements unaided where required.
