Join our team as a Conferences and Events Intern and be an integral part of our dynamic event planning process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of event coordination, with a primary emphasis on administrative tasks.

**About the Roles**

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Drafting detailed event proposals and managing timelines to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinating with venues, suppliers, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
- Facilitating staff coordination and communication to ensure seamless event operations.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of social events as needed.
- Supporting event management on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Maintaining accurate expenditure records and monitoring budgets to stay within financial limits.
- Providing assistance to external visitors, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel and accommodations, and managing expense claims.
- Managing all aspects of event attendance, including logistics such as hotel accommodations, transportation, catering, and coordination with suppliers.
- Undertaking all administrative tasks related to conferences and events.

**About You**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.
- Open-minded and adept at handling repetitive administrative tasks with ease.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to ensure smooth event operations.
- Thrives under pressure and can maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
- Capable of working independently to meet deadlines with precision and accuracy.
- Collaborative team player who can adapt flexibly to work with colleagues across various departments.
- Confident and personable individual who enjoys interacting with people and is committed to ensuring colleague satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

We see our internships as a two-way street. While we are committed fostering your growth and skills within our corporate environment, we also empower you to take ownership of your projects where you feel comfortable in doing so. To make this works, we simply ask that you are:

- Ready and willing to work from our Oxford office for a minimum of 3 days a week, as proximity is essential for collaboration.
- Have the capacity to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) without requiring UK work sponsorship.
- Available to work for the entire 12-month internship period (we are flexible on start dates)
