Conference and Events Coordinator

Our vibrant intellectual clients are seeking a Conference and Events Coordinator to support with internal events. This varied and customer-led role is responsible for facilitating events from initiation through to delivery utilising careful stakeholder management skills and maintaining a high level of organisational skills.

Please note that this role is fully office
- based.

Conference and Events Coordinator Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role are varied and will include:

- Providing end-to-end support for event delivery reporting to the Conference and Events Manager
- Acting as first point of contact for clients, providing up to date information, addressing queries and problem resolution
- Liaising with all departments and external suppliers to ensure timely and effective event delivery
- Meet/Greet all event founders, building key relationships and assisting through events process
- Provide relative technical and practical support for Conference set-ups

Conference and Events Coordinator Essentials

Conference and Events Coordinator Location

Based in Central Oxford, OX1, there is onsite parking and the offices are easily accessible via public transport.

Normal working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Exact start and finish times will vary in order to ensure that the Conference and Events Office is staffed between the hours of 8am and 6pm.Due to the nature of this role and in order to support the conferences and events, this role may require some weekend and evening working which will be shared fairly across the team. Any additional hours worked will be given equivalent time off in lieu.
