**Key Responsibilities**:
An overview of the job-holders key responsibilities includes:
- 1. The Executive Lead for Strategic and Competitive Performance is a key organisational role, working with colleagues at all levels and supporting the Board and Committees as required.

2. Working alongside the Executive Team (responsible for setting strategy) and the Operational
Leadership Team (responsible for implementing strategy), the role supports the coordination of strategic planning, the analysis of options, and the development of implementation plans - including the presentation and messaging of the strategy to the Board and stakeholders including staff.

3. The role is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of strategic delivery, analysis of performance against plans, and for reporting this both qualitatively and quantitively to colleagues and stakeholders in various formats and forums. The role has responsibility for the flow and capture of information to monitor and make business evidenced decisions used at
Executive and Board level, both in reporting and also identifying the key indicators and revising these as necessary as Organisational strategy changes.

4. The role will develop and lead strategy that drive commercial insights, and provide timely and accurate business informatics and data analysis, and regular business performance reviews.

5. The role will work with colleagues in addressing problems arising which negatively affect performance against key objectives, and to help with the development of plans to remedy those problems. Likewise, the role will work with colleagues to identify and assist in building on opportunities arising from positive performance.

6. Work with the Commercial Director to undertake the commercial assessment of major business opportunities (internal and external) with potential for major impact on St Luke’s long-term growth / profitability.

7. The role will oversee the Data Analytics Lead in the development of data analysis and information sharing at St Luke’s and how this is used to inform decision-making and to
