**About the role**:
Are you passionate about people and eager to jumpstart your career in Human Resources? Join our team as a HR Apprentice and immerse yourself in the diverse world of HR.
As part of our People Team, you'll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the employee lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience across Recruitment and Onboarding, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Training and Development, Payroll, Sickness/Absence, Offboarding and much more.
In this role, you'll work closely with our People Team, learning from their expertise while contributing to various HR initiatives. From assisting with recruitment to supporting employee training programs, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our group of businesses.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to work towards a Level 3 qualification in HR Support, building a solid foundation for a career in Human Resources.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Support the People Team with various HR administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- Assist in the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating onboarding sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Help organise and facilitate employee training and development via the company's online platform.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues, such as benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance HR knowledge and skills.
- Take on additional tasks and projects as assigned by the People Team.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 4 GCSE's between A*-D / 9-3 including Maths and English.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word.
- Previous experience in administration or customer service is desirable although not essential.
