**Job summary**:
A new vacancy has been created within the Anaesthetics team at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The hospital performs over 1500 surgeries a year and is now seeking to increase this to ensure our patients access the treatment they need.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
Your responsibilities will include;
- Supporting the wider Administrator and clinical Teams with the generation and monitoring of the weekly anaesthetic and critical care rota for the medical workforce.
- Administering the junior Drs. induction programme by way of invitations and attendance
- Having a proactive approach in ensuring any gaps n the rotas are covered with personnel from the Internal Bank or locum agencies.
- Processing leavers, annual leave and sickness on the internal workforce system

Your workload will be varied and with that challenging - however being able to multitask in an efficient manner whilst maintaining a caring and helpful attitude will ensure success and delivery of responsibilities.

You'll have excellent communication and organisational skills and be confident to make judgements unaided. You will be able to work proactively to problem solve and work on your own initiative.

You will have strong admin experience and used to working in a fast paced environment.

Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment
