- Compliance**We are seeking an exceptional Compliance Officer to join our Risk & Compliance team on a global scale. We’re on the lookout for someone who is not only passionate but also brimming with enthusiasm. As a pivotal member of our Compliance team, you will play a vital role in all aspects of our business, collaborating closely with both technical teams and business support functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless delivery of compliance activities while actively identifying and monitoring compliance risks.**

**What you'll be doing**:

- Develop a comprehensive grasp of the regulatory obligations in the jurisdictions where Bede operates.
- Assist with regulatory notifications and submissions.
- Play a crucial role in cross-functional endeavours to manage compliance-related risks, events, and incidents.
- Aid the Compliance Team in ensuring that Bede and its products comply with regulations in the operating jurisdictions.
- Assist the Commercial departments in understanding the regulatory requirements of potential new markets.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of Bede’s existing controls, supporting the improvement of the overall control environment.
- Support the creation and updating of policies and procedures.
- Help educate Bede colleagues on compliance requirements through training and engagement.
- Foster relationships and maintain regular communication with key internal and external stakeholders.

- Self-motivated and fast to learn, demonstrating initiative in daily work.
- Sharp critical thinking skills and a knack for effective problem-solving.

**Desirable qualities**:

- Prior experience in a compliance-focused role.
- Familiarity with the remote gambling industry.
- Knowledge of control frameworks.
- Proficiency in crafting and delivering training materials.
- A strong grasp of technical concepts and the ability to communicate with engineers using technical language.
