In this Assurance Coordinator role, you will be part of a team which delivers the day-to-day services required to deliver the University's assurance function.

You will be key to effectively delivering the University's assurance function.

You will provide professional expertise and support to the Assistant Director (Assurance) and the Head of Data Protection in a range of areas, particularly focusing on those matters relating to internal audit, legal services, risk management and business continuity, data protection and information compliance services.

As Assurance Coordinator, what will you be doing, day to day?
- Researching, drafting and supporting the consultation process on policies, reports, and processes necessary to ensure the effective and legally compliant operation of all University assurance operations
- Providing dedicated administrative support to senior colleagues during peaks of activity to ensure timely and consistent responses to internal and external data requests
- Supporting senior colleagues across various administrative activities (FOI, DP, Risk Management, BCP, Audit, Legal)Providing administrative support for projects and initiatives run within the Directorate

What skills and experience will you bring to the role?
- Experience working within the higher education (or related) sector
- Proven experience in providing effective administrative support to a large and complex organisation
- Demonstrable experience in handling FOI, DP, SAR requests (or equivalent)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to use initiative and effectively organise own workload to balance competing priorities
