Are you an adept administrator with a flair for organisation? Do you have experience in coordinating work to strict deadlines, using spreadsheets and databases, and using your customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and accurately with others?

This is a great opportunity to become part of the Kent and Medway Medical School team, joining the Curriculum & Assessment Team to administer all aspects of assessment, examination and the programme curriculum, and playing your part in ensuring a high-quality student experience for our students.

The Kent and Medway Medical School is a new and innovative joint endeavour between the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University. Therefore, the role and duties are likely to change as the School develops. The post holder is expected to undertake an active role in supporting the School’s development within their areas of competence

**What you will be doing day-to-day?**
- provide administrative support to the Curriculum & Assessment Manager and Curriculum Assessment Officer in close liaison with the wider Curriculum & Assessment Team, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with University regulation and all aspects of assessment, examination and programme curriculum in line with the role purpose.
- Liaise with students, academic staff and external stakeholders on complex matters providing a high level of customer service to ensure enquires are promptly and professionally dealt with whilst meeting key deadlines.
- Support relevant committees where applicable, taking and circulating minutes, preparing agendas and supporting documents and proactively following up on action points.
- Under the direction of the Curriculum and Assessment Manager, operationalise the annual student choice work schedule/calendar, to facilitate the smooth running of all student choice activities.
- Maintaining the student choice inbox and escalating enquiries where required.

- experience of using spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis
- experience of using initiative to problem solve or improve process efficiency
- excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal pleasantly, confidently and effectively with customers and colleagues
- ability to process statistical information, evaluate data and produce reports

Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) opened to its first cohort of 108 pioneer students in September 2020.
