**Salary**: Circa **_£40,000_** depending on experience

**Hybrid working pattern**: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working such as 3 days a week on site with occasional UK and European travel, approximately one a month.

**The opportunity**:
As we undergo a step change in the ways we work, join our European Engineering team to lead the innovation for capability and skills initiatives. This role is key to supporting the improvement projects in Engineering to allow us to develop and deliver our current and future products.

Working within the Capability & Governance team, you will be supporting improvement activities to deliver the Engineering Capability and Skills Strategy, developing working practices and initiatives within an international environment. Operating in a truly transversal international context across our European business perimeter, it is your job to support the delivery and co-ordination of improvement projects to enable continuous improvement.

You'll have the opportunity to work with technical experts to support strategies and solutions across Engineering working on a wide range of projects for delivering Engineering capabilities and governing the processes to ensure delivery of the long term vision for Engineering.

With the autonomy to define how your required outcomes are delivered, working with a dynamic, focussed team who are passionate about improving the way we undertake our engineering activities.

**What we're looking for from you**:

- A highly motivated individual with excellent organisational skills able to work in an agile technical environment on multiple projects. Working with the Head of Capability and the Head of Skills & Knowledge for Engineering, you will support the governance and delivery of improvement projects in a technical environment.
- Collaborating with technical experts you will enable the delivery of the capability improvement plan, by working with stakeholders to collate the information for improvement projects and help develop solutions to ensure the long term Engineering Strategic Plan delivers products and technologies for the future.
- Demonstrate project management skills to enable defining a plan, managing a budget, collating and analysing technical information and define metrics to deliver solutions.
- A strong communicator able to collaborate with the wider business, with the ability and confidence to work across all levels in an organisation and to build relationships internationally and multi-disciplinary.
- Experience of working with governance of projects, sharing best practice and supporting the business to implement processes to enable improvements across Engineering.
- Support the strategy and delivery of Skills & Knowledge initiatives in engineering to co-ordinate the delivery of training courses and development of tools for Knowledge Management.
