We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Admin Officer to join our dynamic team at The Frying Squad. As the Finance and Admin Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations and administrative functions of our business. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for finance and strong organisational skills to contribute to the success and growth of our fish and chip shop.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Management**_:Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor spending to ensure adherence to the budget.

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- **Administrative Support**_: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, documentation, and data entry.
- Coordinate staff scheduling and maintain employee records.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Support HR functions such as employee onboarding and maintaining personnel records.
- **General Support**_: Provide general assistance and support to the management team as required.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to finance and administration.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Proven experience (2 years) in finance, accounting, or administration roles. (Preferable)
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Experience in using software such as: Lightyear or Quickbooks (Preferable)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £14,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bangor: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
