**PHINIA: Combustion-Technology Leader**

BorgWarner’s Fuel Systems and Aftermarket business PHINIA is intended to separate from BorgWarner in late 2023.

PHINIA will be a product leader in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution with balanced and synergistic exposure among Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket end markets, with embedded relationships with global OEMs and a focus on the global vehicle parc.

**Job purpose**

The Compliance Office Specialist will support the day-to-day activities of the global Compliance Office: supporting strategic efforts and helping manage the company’s compliance program (which includes data privacy, sanctions, sustainability, ethics and compliance). The COS will act as the advisory point of contact for appropriate business and functional stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support the implementation of global group-wide compliance programs.
- Act as advisory point of contact on compliance issues and handle enquiries.
- Administer global compliance reporting and data systems.
- Monitor processes and procedures using compliance management system(s).
- Assist with the coordination of investigations.
- Support with compliance breaches and breach documentation.
- Monitor the status of internal investigations.
- Support sustainability goal setting and track progress.
- Deliver and validate requested environmental data for annual Sustainability Report.
- Manage and perform restricted party screening process.
- Oversee the drafting, distribution, and review of the annual compliance questionnaire.
- Prepare internal/external reporting.
- Contribute to reviews of policies, controls and procedures and knowledge feedback loops to support continuous improvement and best practice.
- Oversee the compliance calendar, including training and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What we’re looking for**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent compliance qualification.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in compliance, data management or related function.
- Experience in administrating and utilising reporting and data management systems.
- Experience working at a global company.
- Experience and comprehensive knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly Tier 1 automotive supplier or OEM, is a plus.
- Highly organised self-starter with the ability to plan, prioritise and work on own initiative.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional manner.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple and complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Data analytical skill set - detail oriented, data focused with the ability to think critically and identify process gaps.
- Strong MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) skills.
- Good understanding of compliance regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in English.

- Good understanding of political, regulatory, shareholder environments affecting compliance (including data privacy, sustainability) in the automotive industry
- Compliance due diligence experience
- Experience of project managing compliance investigations
- Experience and knowledge of laws and regulations related to data privacy globally.
- Experience of sustainability assessments
- Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
