We have a unique opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to participate in our Breast Pain Service pilot as Administrator. Working alongside the Lead Breast Pain Service Nurse and wider Breast Service staff, you will be required to provide a variety of clerical/administrative tasks with the aim to support the delivery of the Breast Pain Service. This is is a twelve month position (Fixed Term or Secondment opportunity), with potential to extend.

You will liaise with patients, ensuring appropriate appointment slots are booked, process all relevant clinic paperwork, record clinic outcomes and transcribe clinic letters. You will also support in the monitoring and submission of compliance reporting for the pilot, responding to data requests and data inputting to the bespoke FAHRAS system.

The post-holder must be able to multitask, prioritise and have high attention to detail. Accurate data input skills are essential, along with excellent communication skills and the need to be responsive to the needs of the service. You will be a point of contact for patients, specialty teams and other departments for all enquiries relating to the Breast Pain Service. You will also be required to attend the bi-monthly clinics in the community.

- To co-ordinate the provision of high quality, patient focussed service for patients referred to the Breast Pain Service.
- To provide a professional and welcoming reception service to patients attending community-based Breast Pain Clinics.
- To monitor waiting times and appoint appropriately to ensure clinicians capacity is used to best capacity.
- To assist in producing accurate data for local and national reporting requirements.
- To act as first point of contact for all queries in relation to the Breast Pain Service.
