Devon Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) is a newly developed service across Devon at each of the 3 trusts, 4 sites, providing a single point of access for women during pregnancy or post birth with pelvic health concerns and trauma. The service is being funded by NHSE as a National project to align services across England.
The team consists of pelvic health specialist midwives, pelvic health specialist physiotherapists based at each site and administrative roles. Each trust reports back to the wider midwifery workforce for each trust, Devon LMNS and NHSE.
The Devon region will provide an aligned service throughout for those women and families seeking support, information, and guidance with pelvic health concerns during pregnancy, childbirth, and the initial postnatal period to up to 12 months postnatally.
Offered as a 12 month fixed term contract, or a 12 month secondment with the possibility of becoming permanent
**Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.**
This post has been established to provide administrative support to the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) for Devon.
The team is responsible for driving forward the PPHS, improvements and transformational change within the service as the project progresses in partnership with Acute Trusts and other stakeholders.
The successful post holder will have experience of working in healthcare and/or project administration and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. They will be responsible for handling all the PPHS single point of access referrals and allocating them to the appropriate site for actioning, providing comprehensive administrative support and to act as a key contact point for stakeholders.
The post holder(s) will be required to support women to organise appointments in the clinics around the region, with the awareness that this is often a vulnerable time during early motherhood.
