**Job summary**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the fast paced and busy Waiting List Booking Teams based at Solihull Hospital or Heartlands Hospital. The posts are full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As part of a large team of Waiting List Co-ordinators, the post holders will individually manage elective waiting lists for different specialities, ensuring pre -ops are booked and theatre lists are fully utilised. The post holder will also answer telephone queries from patients, work closely with Speciality Managers and clinical staff including theatres.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
To be fully computer literate (training will be given on Trust IT systems)

To have good customer service skills to be able to deal with patients empathetically

To work to a high level of accuracy

To be able to work under pressure and at a fast pace

To be able to work collaboratively as part of a team

To be able to organise and prioritise own workload

To demonstrate reliability, motivation and commitment

To be confident in dealing with people and staff of all levels

To demonstrate an understanding of equality and diversity
