We are looking for a fulltime individual to assist in organising and preparing for prospective-student visits, and all types of admissions activity. Provide Care and support to prospective students during the assessment process, including when they are on site. To assess prospective students and provide feedback on the suitability of Derwen College for them. To undertake all relevant admin around Admissions, as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Make arrangements for prospective students to visit, e.g. Young Person Experience Days, individual Assessment Days.
- Act as the primary provider of 1:1 care support for prospective students during their individual Assessment Days. To include overnight assessments when taking place.
- Liaise with care, therapies and curriculum teams to ensure prospective students meet appropriate individuals during their assessment day.
- Make observations on the young people, gather and provide feedback on each individual, to inform the assessment process.
- Support prospective students with the administering of medication (specialist training will be provided where necessary)
- Supporting Transition and Progression Coordinator with the onboarding process of new students including administrative support around scheduling of inductions as well as inputting Circle of Care information into Nourish.
- Relevant administrative duties including input to EBS and Nourish and onboarding new students, and administration around on roll students as required.
**Person Specification**:
- Hold relevant Health and Social Care qualification
- Understanding, knowledge and experience of delivering high quality care, care plans and risk assessments
- Accredited Positive Behaviour Support Coach
- Knowledge of CQC framework and external quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to incorporate the use of MAKATON and other relevant communication aids
- Excellent organisational skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload & multi task
- Highly self-motivated individual with ability to work on own initiative
- Competent IT user with ability to adapt to new or unfamiliar software programmes.

**Salary**: £19,790.00-£20,350.00 per year
