MIS is a small Independent Motorcycle Service and Sales Company based on Brunel Drive near the Newark MOT centre on Newark Industrial Estate.

**Position title**

Office administrator

**Position summary**
- Working Hours : 10:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)
- Salary : Dependent upon experience
- Reporting to : Workshop Manager

MIS is looking for a competent, enthusiastic and helpful individual to assist with a Professional front of house presence and the daily running of a small thriving automotive business. The hours are roughly 20 per week but we can be flexible to meet individual requirements but this will not include working from home.

**Duties include but are not limited too**:

- Answering the phone and online enquiries in a helpful and proactive manner
- Front of house greeting customers.
- Booking in and scheduling work to the Company
- Following up on booking to ensure a smooth workflow through the workshop
- Locating and ordering spare parts
- Maintaining basic spreadsheets
- Creating invoices for work undertaken
- Taking Payment for work undertaken
- Minor cleaning work (admin / showroom area only)
- Other adhoc duties as required

**Position requirements**
- Basic knowledge of computer software programs (Word / Excel)
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- To be proactive and resourceful working without direct supervision
- Good sense of humour and flexible approach
- Mechanical knowledge an advantage but not essential
- Manage e-bay account
