About the role

The Administrator, will play a key role in our small team. Reporting to the Office Manager, the postholder will work closely across a range of projects and provide central support for the team. You will work closely with the Office Manager and support the day‐to‐day running and administration of a busy office with a diverse workload.

A key aspect of the role includes taking responsibility for a wide range of administrative tasks, diary management, and logistics planning including travel bookings.

The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining electronic filing systems on behalf of the team, organising office supplies, and general administrative support to enable the smooth running of the key individuals for all day‐to‐day activities.

About the location

Our office is based in Winthorpe, on the outskirts of Newark and within 20‐30 mins drive time to Lincoln and Grantham. We act as a ‘base’ for clients from time to time also, receiving client incoming mail and providing office services from our base. This post will be an office based role.

Essential criteria - skills and experience

Skilled in the Microsoft office suite (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience of diary management and arranging meetings.
- Experience of travel planning and associated administration.
- Very strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work and work independently.
- Experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast paced, constantly changing work environment to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously, taking responsibility for own workload.
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of their work.
- Conscientious, accurate and strong attention to detail.
- Confident manner on the telephone.
- Good numeric skills, GSCE level C or above Level 5 in maths.
- Organising, packing, and sending mailouts.
- Preparation of background notes, using internet searches, and compiling information.
- Willing to adapt and work flexibly responding proactively to the demands of a small and busy team with a diverse workload.
