**This role would best suit an experienced bookkeeper seeking a new and flexible part-time role**
**Job Title: PA / Bookkeeper Office Manager**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Specific Tasks**:
**Payroll Management (2-3 days/month)**:Efficiently handle the payroll process for employees.
Ensure accuracy in wage calculations and adherence to relevant regulations.
**Invoicing and Receipt Collation on QB / DEXT (2-3 days/month)**:Process invoices and receipts using QuickBooks and DEXT.
Link bank accounts for seamless reconciliation.
**Document Processing**:Handle various document processing tasks as requested.
Maintain organized and accessible digital and physical records.
**HR Issues**:Address HR issues as requested, demonstrating sensitivity and confidentiality.
Assist in maintaining employee records and documentation.
**Filing (1 day/week)**:Manage physical and digital filing systems, ensuring ease of access and retrieval.
Utilize tools such as Octopus and cloud solutions for efficient document storage.
**General Responsibilities**:
**Payment Processing**:Process payments, invoices, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
Enter financial data into accounting software and databases.
**Financial Statement Preparation**:Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
Monitor business income and expenditure, identifying areas for improvement.
**Vendor Invoice Management**:Pay vendor invoices promptly and accurately.
Track bank account balances and maintain financial records.
**VAT Returns**:Complete VAT returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
**Account Reconciliation**:Verify the accuracy of business accounts and promptly alert the Accountant to any discrepancies.
Record inconsistencies and assist in reconciliation efforts.
**Employee Wages and Expense Claims**:Prepare employee wages and manage expense claims.
Work closely with the Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting.
**Administrative Support**:Assist the Accountant with administrative duties as needed.
Contribute to the preparation of yearly accounts.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Proven experience in payroll management, bookkeeping, and office administration.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and DEXT.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR processes is a plus.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
