The organisation was set up in July 1999 to address the educational disadvantage suffered by certain marginalised sections of the community. We work with mainly unemployed customers in order to help improve their personal circumstances, qualifications and employment prospects.

**Job Summary**:
The post-holder will work closely within the organisation's administrative staff including the Director, Operations Manager, Teaching, Finance and other Administrative staff.- Assisting with administration processes across ATN including enrolment
- Processing paperwork
- Liaising with staff, and students both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Answering queries from the Job Centre Plus
- Creating and maintaining various databases.
- To provide routine office support such as distributing office mail, preparing documentation, stationary orders, photocopying, and printing.
- Data analysis, Data processing and Data input. To ensure that all leavers are identified and the leaving documentation is completed promptly including tracking of learner progression routes.
- To ensure that all learners information is fully and accurately entered on the system
- To undertake other general administrative duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.
- To undertake any necessary training as required

- Help to implement, develop and monitor Adult Training Network’s (ATN) widening participation strategy including the promotion of the range of programmes in Skills for Life (ESOL, FS English and Maths and Digital Skills) on offer in Merton
- Help to implement a programme of outreach activities as agreed with the Managing Director/Line Manager ensuring that targets and milestones are achieved.
- Plan, co-ordinate and deliver a structured sequence of widening participation activities to raise potential learners’ aspirations and attainment, in partnership with key stakeholders such as Job Centre Plus, local community and faith organisations, job recruitment agencies, schools, retailers, employers etc
- Act as a point of contact for Job Centre Plus and other external parties contacting the ATN in relation to promoting the courses on offer.
- Producing soft and hard copy publicity in collaboration with the staff at ATN who have marketing responsibilities.
- Plan and coordinate marketing activities via social media including leafletting activities in soft and hard copy form.
- Deliver presentations on courses on offer via Microsoft Teams/Zoom to key stakeholders.
- Arrange a programme of marketing activities for under-represented groups including ethnic minority learners, mature students, care leavers and disabled learners
- Offering Information, Advice and Guidance to potential learners on the range of courses on offer.
- Arrange and attend widening participation events for ATN and as part of collaborative work with other agencies across the region
- To represent ATN in widening participation within external forums.
- To undertake any other relevant duties as specified by the Managing Director/Line Manager

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-15 per week

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour
