**OVERVIEW**

We are looking to recruit a Facilities Administrator within our maintenance team here at The Celtic Manor Resort. In this role you will be required to support the business objectives of the resort and the operation of the Facilities Department by proving administrative services for that department.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR **
You will have a positive, professional approach along with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines - multi-tasking should come easily to you. We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to work using your own initiative, along with a critical mind to actively assess situations and take an alternative approach when necessary. A fantastic eye for detail and of course, being IT literate is necessary for this role. Previous experience in a similar role is desired. You should have excellent grooming standards, always portraying a 5* image and always wanting to provide a 5* service.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO **

Key duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Organises meetings on behalf of the Facilities Manager when required. Attend these meetings, create agendas and prepare and issues minutes of meeting. Ensures refreshment and any audio
- visual aids are organised. Ensure Actions points are completed in timely manner and ready for update at the next meeting.
Ensures that resources are used effectively, minimising waste and recycling wherever possible to protect our environment and reduce costs.
Maintains cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
Maintains the strictest levels of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive issues related to the Resort, employees or clients.
Computer work will involve programs such as Word, Excel, Power point, Micros, Delphi & Guest Connections
Type’s correspondence as required.
Ensure that all manual and electronic files are kept up to date.
Performs related duties and special assignments as and when required by management. You will be responsible for collating, processing and tracking parts orders received from onsite engineers and ensure that all manual and electronic files are kept up to date.
Participates in monthly audits and checks on all equipment to verify its location and ensure its full, safe operation.
Is responsible for helping to create and maintain a customer-focused culture which supports the values expressed on the Resort’s Ambition and the Resort’s business goals.
Has a full and up-to-date knowledge of the Resort’s facilities, services and events. Actively seeks this information when necessary.
