One of the UK’s most established market leading research organisations based in Bangor has an opportunity for an experienced Project Support Officer. This independent, not-for-profit research centre has a fantastic reputation, and prides itself on providinga quality service to its clients.

Accountable to the Project Manager and Project accountant you will be working with a friendly team who will be on hand to provide training and support if needed.

As a project support officer, your duties will be to:

- assist project managers in the set up, review, reporting and closure of their projects
- assist project accountants in the processing of workflow approvals and regular review of project budgets
- setting up projects in the in-house business system
- using MS Planner Board, or similar, to monitor key process steps on a portfolio of projects
- processing workflow approvals
- generating invoicing schedules
- producing expenditure statements to support customer invoices
- making project (budget) revisions as necessary
- assisting project managers in the appropriate use of systems, reports and budgeting tools
- resolving ad hoc financial processing and reporting queries

We are keen to speak to anyone who can demonstrate the following skills and / or experience:

- Excellent administration skills with previous experience in a commercial role
- Strong organisational skills, the ability to plan and prioritise work
- Professional telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive with excellent time-management skills
- Good level of proficiency with Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate through the medium of welsh is desirable
