The purpose of the role is to support the provision of a comprehensive information service using various Quality Informatic Systems by providing expert advice and analysis across a range of areas. The post holder will be responsible for leading a range of projects and initiatives across a number of areas using the designated Quality Informatic Systems adopted by the organisation, using their considerable expertise to advise the organisation on specialist information issues.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for leading the identification of new opportunities within their relevant area; and liaising with senior managers across the organisation to communicate how various information developments can support the delivery of monitoring patient safety related issues and organisational responsibilities

The post holder will represent the department across a range of organisational projects, and will be the information expert on these groups, ensuring that the decision making process is supported by the timely provision of information and analysis.

The post holder will lead the review of departmental processes, ensuring that they continue to evolve in the most effective and efficient manner, and remain at the forefront of technological and analytical advancements.
