HR Assistant

The HR Assistant will work within the HR Team to deliver the highest standards of service to the department and to internal and external customers, by providing them with administrative support.
**What will I do in the role?**
- Work closely with the Junior HRA and HR Lead to provide support as needed
- Completion of various HR checklists
- Maintaining starters and leavers information on various portals
- Responding to reference requests for ex employee’s
- Maintaining GDPR work
- Running monthly audits and monthly reports
- Payroll actions such as send out monthly P45’s, collating information
- Assisting with employee lifecycle administration as required
- Updating and maintaining HR system as required for both HR and Recruitment purposes to ensure accuracy of information
- Revising HR Company policies
- Participate in HR Project work
- Benefits administration
- Suggest ideas and solutions to improve and enhance processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
**What do I need?**
**Required**:
- Proven administration skills and experience
- MS Office experience such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to understand the importance of confidentiality in handling customer personal data
- Ability to work accurately and with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally
- Good organisational skills to manage workload and changing priorities
**Desirable**:
- Experience of working in an HR Team
- Experience of using HR software
