We're working with the Education Training Collective, a group of colleges in the Tees Valley; Stockton Riverside College, Redcar and Cleveland College, Bede Sixth Form College, NETA Training and The Skills Academy. Education Training Collective (Etc.) delivers a full range of courses, training and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as professional and commercial courses.
- **The Role**_

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to support the HR team in delivering a high-quality HR Service to the College Group. Acting as a true business partner to your stakeholders, this role involves advising on a full generalist array of lifecycle activity including complex ER, restructuring, managerial development and training, recruitment, and more.

This is an exciting and varied role within a lovely HR team who are committed to doing the best by its people. While fast paced, their is a true sense of togetherness within the HR function and we're looking for a passionate and values driven professional to continue delivering a customer-focused service.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide HR support to line managers on staff disciplinary, capability, absence management, performance and grievance matters including complex ER.
- Provide generalist HR advice, guidance and support to all staff, in line with current employment legislation and The Group policies and procedures.
- Provide HR support to line managers on staff disciplinary, capability, absence management, performance and grievance matters
- Develop and deliver staff development sessions on people management topics, such as attendance management/capability, effective management of probation etc.
- To lead on HR projects as directed by the Head of Human Resources, e.g. Better Health at Work, Staff Development
- To recommend changes/updates to The Group policy and procedures to the Head of Human Resources and to assist with the updating of these and roll out/communication of any changes
- Safeguard the health, well-being, and safety of the students and staff some of whom maybe classed as vulnerable people or adults.

**About You**

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor on a 9-month fixed term basis. Ideally, CIPD qualified (preferably level 5) or qualified by significant experience the field. This might suit someone looking for their next interim or contract opportunity who enjoys business partnering and getting involved with several different areas of operational HR. You must have experience in complex ER casework to be successful in this role.

**Salary**: £31,990.00-£40,538.00 per year
