**Sales Support Administrator**

The **Sales Support Administrator **is a key role in supporting the sales channels achieve departmental targets. The job holder will work closely with the other Senior Quality and Improvement Analysts and Sales Managers to ensure tender requests are processed by their given deadlines.

The **Sales Support Administrator **are responsible for creating a first point price offer that is accurate and is ready by the tender due date. They are responsible for the management of the initial tender requests for electricity and gas tender requests and service enquiries from brokers, direct customers and internal sales managers; which represent new business and retention opportunities for the Sales division through to approval of the created price in our pricing system.

The **Sales Support Administrator **role will require the team to have dialogue with the commercial teams and credit analysts to ensure that deadlines can be met and prices can be sent to the broker/customer on time.

**Accountabilities**:

- Manage tender requests by gathering all necessary information through liaising with brokers, customers, 3rd parties, and sales managers which will include data cleansing and portfolio validation, to enable Offer Creation to create an initial contract offer.
- Create accurate RFQ’s and bespoke opportunities within Salesforce and Cygnus ensuring that duplicate requests are not logged.
- Creation of an initial credit check for all potential business.
- Liaising with internal teams including pricing, complex products and contract live when required in order to complete tenders and projects efficiently.
- Maintain and manage the quote inbox ensuring that queries are answered within 24 hours.
- Downloading HH and DM data as required.
- Work closely with the commercial teams and credit analysts to manage tender requests that are more complex or have a short turnaround time.
- Ensure that there is a valid and current credit check in place before providing a price and raising where contract values do not match credit checked volumes.
- Creation of prices by populating pricing tools with customer information and uploading on to internal systems resulting in bespoke contract offer.
- Liaising with internal teams including pricing, complex products and contract Live when required in order to complete tenders and projects efficiently.
- Work on all types of tenders to understand the different products that we offer.

**Knowledge and experience**:

- Working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (including intermediate level Excel).
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce systems.
- Prior knowledge of the Energy industry.
