**Your new role as our Workflow & Planning Manager will include**:

- Full responsibility for coordinating and implementing fixed service routes, as well as variable installation and project work routes
- Defining and documenting a model for priority planning which proactively and effectively manages variable workload against variable resources e.g., contingency to allow for absence
- Ensuring that work is distributed in line with the plan, KPIs, and processed accurately within the agreed time frames
- Reviewing, refining, and updating the planning model using feedback from the business
- Working closely with the Service Managers to ensure they appropriately brief and debrief their technicians on changes to routing and the reasons for those changes
- Reporting on site performance against plan, understanding how accurately work planning is being applied on a site-by-site basis, and working with managers to improve adherence
- Reporting on productivity by site, understanding best practice and sharing this across the business to drive performance, using the information to drive change and action
- Maintaining employee engagement and moral through engaging effectively with the team and minimising attrition / maximising retention
- Forecasting short and long-term staffing needs, using this to support our resource planning and to guide recruitment, identifying the required level of FT / PT employees and efficiently aligning labour with demand
- Managing agency demand to work alongside our core team where appropriate and approved
- Identifying and proposing improvements to the business regarding planning optimisation and broader work efficiencies or effectiveness
- Suitable experience of labour planning for a multi-site workforce, ideally with time also spent in an operational role
- Previous experience of implementing and owning a labour planning model, with an in-depth awareness and understanding of best practice
- Experience using operating systems and software scheduling tools. Excel to an advanced level is essential, and SQL knowledge is desirable
- People management experience with a passion for developing and motivating colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with people, and strong customer focus
- Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes in a cross functional environment, and managing multiple stakeholder requests
- A passion to deliver service excellence and a high level of commitment including gaining a good knowledge of **phs** Greenleaf products, services and relevant legislation
- A high level of service understanding - a creative thinker who monitors service and delivery progress and is keen to resolve issue to present the best overall customer service.
