This role is based at our injection moulding manufacturing site in Shirebrook.

We're looking for someone with a background in production/manufacturing, who is familiar with Quality processes including using digital measuring equipment. You'll have great attention to detail and data inputting experience.
- **Role Purpose**:_

- To support Jet Press in the on-going control and delivery of high product quality levels through the measurement and recording of items vs specification for both manufactured and assembled items
- To support the identification and implementation of non-conformity investigations and continuous improvement activities aimed at ensuring Jet Press maintains its high product quality

To support the maintenance and development of our Quality Management programme (ISO / IATF).
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- **Product Measurement** - perform measurement and associated tests on manufactured and assembled product to ensure they are in line with the customer specification
- **Documentation** - populate the quality documentation/system as required by Jet Press and/or our customers (dimensional reports, FAIR, etc.)
- **Statistical Process Control **- maintain the SPC system with live production data to enable automated quality measurement to be conducted
- **Equipment Maintenance** - ensure that all measurement/calibration equipment is fit for purpose, and that appropriate records are maintained as evidence of maintenance programme
- **Non-Conformity Investigation** - support the investigation surrounding any non-conformity of product quality, making recommendations for the implementation of permanent corrective actions as appropriate
- **New Products** - support the development and introduction of new products through recommendations on measurement procedures and frequencies
- **Certifications** - support Jet Press in the maintenance and development of its Integrated Management System (IMS) - ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 and IATF 16949 and all associated audits
- **Skills & Knowledge**:_
- Clear communication style with the ability to work with all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable populating data sheets
- Able to use digital measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, vision-cams)
- Technically minded - able to read technical engineering drawings
- Working knowledge and experience of PPAP, FMEA, SPC & APQP (advantageous)
- Knowledge/qualifications in 5S, CAPA, Lean Methodologies (advantageous)
- **Experience**:_

Essential:

- Performed quality activities within a production or assembly environment
- Good understanding of product measurement techniques and tools
- Confidence using PC/laptops and associated programmes (e.g. MRP, Excel, Sharepoint)

Preferred:

- Experience of working with plastic injection moulding
- Experience of working with customers in either the Automotive, Aerospace or Medical sectors
