Residential Child Care Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team at Consistent Quality Support. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our young residents.
About the Position
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on new challenges and responsibilities in a residential child care setting. You will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in managing a team of child care workers, promoting therapeutic parenting practices, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in leading a team of Residential Child Care Workers.
- Plan and coordinate shifts to ensure effective teamwork and good practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for supporting vulnerable children and young people.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive work environment that promotes the well-being of all staff members.
- Participate in health and safety initiatives, safer recruitment processes, HR procedures, and administrative tasks.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, based on experience, plus a range of benefits, including company events, VIP activities with young people, health and wellbeing programs, hourly pay, on-call bonuses, opportunities for bonuses, and training opportunities to progress to Registered Manager.
